The bonding diagram builder draws dot and cross diagrams for ionic and covalent compounds with a stepped build up. Start from the separate atoms, show the transfer or the sharing, and finish on the full answer, exactly as you would build it on the board.
A hand-built replica of the real builder page, not a screenshot. Every control shown exists in the product.
The demo above is live. Magnesium oxide builds in four steps, the magnesium atom, then the oxygen joins, then the transfer arrows, then the ions in brackets with their charges. Switch to hydrogen sulfide and the same four steps show sharing instead, with the overlap and the shared pairs drawn the way examiners expect.
Stepping backwards and forwards lets the class predict each stage before it appears. Twenty seven compounds cover the standard GCSE examples and the challenge ones, and the diagram exports exactly as shown, so a worksheet can carry the mid transfer picture as easily as the finished answer.
Diagnostic multiple choice. Each answer reveals what the class does and doesn't understand.
Click a number and watch it land on a question at random. Built for cold-call questioning.
Automate show, cover, and recall tasks. Great for memorising diagram features or keywords.
Questions beside a visual stimulus. A YouTube clip, diagram, graph, or a paragraph to read closely.
Shell diagrams for atoms and ions, with dots or crosses, hidden electrons and side-by-side comparison.
Curated, balanced GCSE reaction equations, ready to blank for recall.
Generate chemistry calculations with scaffolded, worked solutions.
Every tool turns a few inputs into a clean, exam-ready diagram.
Practical results tables with repeat readings, a mean and an optional anomaly, plus curated reference data.
Upload any diagram and the labels are suggested for you to drag, edit and blank.
