Biology memorise and recall

Memorise and recall runs the classic show, cover, check routine for you. Put up a labelled diagram, give the class a timed look, cover the labels, and reveal the answers one at a time once everyone has committed their recall.

Why this works in Biology

The demo uses an animal cell diagram whose covers were made in the diagram labeller and sent across with one click. The class studies the labelled cell against the countdown, the labels are covered with shuffled letters, and in the check phase you reveal the answers in any order while the answer key builds below.

Cell diagrams are the obvious fit, but any labelled biology diagram works the same way, the heart, the leaf, the digestive system. Upload an image or send one from the other tools, set the timers, and the same diagram becomes a retrieval task the class can repeat next week.
